Adventure Introduction:

My eyes were still adapting to darkness; as my nose was one step ahead. Air was imbued with strong cinnamon note. With face in the wet, yet warm soil, I couldn’t miss it. Someone was cooking and it was strangely familiar.

From the floor I was laying on, I could’ve seen dim and barely noticeable orange torchlight.

I felt as warmth started to evenly distribute throughout my body as the dimensional chill was passing away. Even though I had some experience with portal traveling, I barely remembered it was essential to be of a calm mind and focus. Crippled and incapacitated cannot pass through portal unless being carried by conscious one – as I somehow did with Grizkh. He opened his yellow eyes.
"Portal spat us out at this location for a reason. Someone once calibrated it right here. That might have been a thousand of years ago, I do not know." I tried to sound as gentle as I could.
